Format: Classy Ancients Format, spoiled 5E Warlords will be legal (found here).
Tournament Structure: Matched Swiss Pairs. One round every 48 hours, 5 or 6 preliminary rounds depending on numbers, then cut to an 8-player single-elimination bracket, with play-ins in case of ties.
The Ugly List: Ugly Ancients — Saga of the Storm - These Warlords have never known the thrill of a top 8 appearance. Can you make their dreams come true? These Warlords are also worth extra points in the Online Circuit rankings!
The Legendary List: If you’re on the player list, you can’t play a Warlord on the Warlord list!

What is Classy?
In Classy Ancients, your Warlord must permanently change one of their classes, and may change one of their archetype traits. These changes must be declared at deck submission and will last the entire event.

Let’s look at some examples:
- Tancred, Church Enforcer is a level 5 Deverenian Fighter Knight. His class must change to Rogue, Fighter, or Wizard. He may remain a Knight, or become an Assassin, an Artificer, or an Oozemaster. Unlike in previous versions of the Classy Ancients, changing an Archetype is not limited by your chosen class—you can pick any archetype trait, regardless.
- Stonefist Gargoyle is a level 4 Dwarf Fighter/Cleric. One of those two classes must change, the other must remain. He could become a Fighter/Rogue or a Cleric/Wizard, but not a Wizard/Rogue. Stonefist Gargoyle has two background traits, Dwarf and Gargoyle, but no archetype trait. Background traits cannot be changed and no archetype trait can be added.
- Rraag’nar is a level 5 Nothrog Fighter Barbarian Ranger Paladin. His class must change. Only one (or none) of his archetypes can be changed. Rraag’nar could become a Rogue Barbarian Ranger Scout, or a Wizard Bard Ranger Paladin.
