What is this?
The 2022 Online Warlord Circuit is a series of Warlord tournaments held over the course of 2022 via Discord and Untap.in. Players from any region of the world are welcome and encouraged to join the community at large as we return to the Accordlands and battle it out for prestige, prizes, and the thrill of the fight!
Where can I play?
We coordinate pickup games, practice games, and official games all over the Warlord Discord with dedicated channels for each month’s events. Though we do all our chatting and voice communication through Discord, we do the actual playing over a browser-based client called Untap.in. If you haven’t used Untap or similar programs before, we have a short tutorial video for it. Discord and Untap are both free and relatively easy to use. If you have any questions, just swing by the Discord with them.
What can I expect?
Expect to have a good time reliving the glory of Warlord CCG and making new memories with our welcoming online community. Entry is always free and events are played slowly over the course of several weeks with roughly 48 hours to schedule and play each round’s match. Our monthly average stays above 30 players, and that number is steadily growing. Prizes are provided out of pocket by the Guardians of the Storm and mailed out to winners regardless of location.
We embrace Warlord in all forms and often change the format we play between events. You can stay up to date with upcoming events both online and in-person using the Events tab above. If you ever have a question about card legality in a format, ping the community or use The Accordlands’ ability to filter by Format.
What’s the Leaderboard?
This is something that we established to reward players for participation in multiple events over the course of the year. With each event you join and each round you play, you’ll be awarded with “circuit points” which are tallied and added to your total at the end of every event. Here’s how the points break down:
Sign up: 2 Points
Play a match: 1 Point
Win a match: 2 Points
Tie a match: 1 Point
Get the Bye: 2 Points
Top of Swiss: 2 Points
Top in Faction: 2 Points
Win an Event: 5 Points
The most current leaderboard will always be displayed on the front page of this site. At the end of the year we will have a special prize as well as honor prepared for the Circuit Points Leader. We are still coming up with better and better ideas on how to reward this individual. In addition, we are planning to award the Top 8 or Top 16 with something as well - likely a playmat or special memorabilia. Those details are still in their infancy but will be fleshed out and publicized.

If you’re uninitiated, your first step is just reaching out. Our community and events include individuals of every skill and creativity level, but one thing we all have in common is an addiction to fun and a passion to play Warlord. We aren’t a fair weather community and we aren’t oppressively elitist or exclusive. You are welcome and even invited to join the madness with us!
